As a waterfront community on the world’s 10th largest inland lake, Odin Green is teeming with freshwater fish and other wildlife, including birds of prey, geese, ducks, and myriad other species. This Spring, we had several bald eagles favouring the community. Owls and foxes are also common sights. 

At Odin Green, we believe conservation is important. That's why we've designed the development to conserve the natural forest on the property. We've also created new habitat for lake Winnipeg waterfowl in our deep channels; an underground artesian spring draws fish to the channels regularly, while nearby marshland birds find plenty of nesting ground in the neighbouring shallow areas. We're also big fans of planting trees on Odin Green. With the help of the good people at Minerva Tree Farms, we've been planting species native to the area all over the lots, both public and private! We just can't seem to get enough trees, and after seven years, many of them are maturing into beautiful landmarks. Among the most common species you'll find are:
